Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown and cut. Mustard: (a) Ovoid bowl, with horizontally-ribbed silver rim; the bowl with a band of cut diamonds above cut panels; short capstan foot with panel cutting at the rim, and cut side; polished pontil mark. (b) Domed form with ribbed rim, cylindrical brim; a squared slot cut from the rim for a spoon; urn finial. Caster: (a) Tall, cylindrical form, with ground short cylindrical neck; rounded shoulder above a panel-cut, bell-shaped section; a band of cut nailhead diamonds above a panel-cut cylindrical section; polished flat base. (b) Double-domed form with three bands of tiny keyhole piercing and engraved arcades; reeded circular top, with the foot of an urn finial; sharp flange below; reeded collar.Provenance
