(a) Ovoid bowl, with horizontally-ribbed silver rim; the bowl with a band of cut diamonds above cut panels; short capstan foot with panel cutting at the rim, and cut side; polished pontil mark, with a scratched "X"; hallmarks for . (b) Domed form with ribbed rim, cylindrical brim; a squared slot cut from the rim for a spoon; urn finial; hallmarks on brim: lion passant, "M" (for 1807/1808) and illegible makers' mark.Provenance
