Physical DescriptionBottle. Uncertain (appears black in reflected light), with opaque white trail. Blown (body blown in dip mold); applied, dragged, marvered. Bottle: horizontal cross section of body is circular at top, but becomes roughly square about 1 cm below shoulder. Rim plain, with irregular, rounded lip; neck narrow and cylindrical, but narrower at bottom than at top; shoulder rounded; wall straight and tapering; base square; no obvious pontil mark. Decoration consists of single trail dropped onto bottom of wall and wound in very uneven spiral 13 times around entire vessel; upper part of trail was then dragged vertically to produce 11 contiguous festoons.
