Physical DescriptionColorless, polychrome lead glass; blown, paperweight technique, millefiori. (a) Bulbous sides, with slender neck and flared rim; ground for a stopper, waisted near the base; the bottom containing a concentric millefiori paperweight, with seven rings of polychrome canes, the outer ring yellow, white and amethyst; ring around the bottom, where the bottle sides overlap the paperweight base; rough pontil mark. (b) Domed form, containing a concentric array of millefiori canes in five rings, the outer row lavender, white and (one) red; tapered stem; ground tapered shank, with ground end.Provenance
