Physical DescriptionPaperweight with Sulphide of Queen Marie Antoinette. Colorless, green, white, pink lead glass; paperweight, millefiori, molded sulphide. Domed, circular form, enclosing a molded sulphide of Marie Antoinette, depicting her facing left, with elaborate coiffeur, wearing beads, and an elaborate dress; encircled by a ring of millefiori "rose" canes, large white roses with red centers spaced by sets of three smaller, green and white roses; on a brilliant, transparent dark green ground; polished concave base.Provenance
