Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, stained. (a) Barrel- shaped bowl with flared rim; yellow stained band on the upper half, with finely engraved foliate borders, and the inscription "AN/DEN/KEN" separated into syllables by oval panels, each with an engraved view, inscribed "Anna Kappelle," "Fischbach," and "Warmbrunn"; lower part of the bowl with cut oval panels, upper and lower parts enameled in translucent purple and with engraved flowers, with fine diamond cutting within and flanking the ovals; panel-cut stem; slanted faceting on the rim, radial faceting on the underside of the foot; with a purple enameled circular panel at the center, with engraved scene, inscribed on reverse "Kynast". (b) Domed shape with rounded brim and inset rim; lid panel-cut, yellow- stained, with engraved flowers; brim with cut strawberry diamonds; spiral-cut finial, with alternate facets yellow-stained.
