Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, stained and enameled. Conical bowl, panel-cut on lower half, with an engraved coat of arms and inscription in the upper half: "Trink stets hieraus nur Ungerwein! /Lass immer wahre Freund' uns sein/ Und trinke gern aus diesem Glase; Begiess Dir aber nicht die Nase!"; flared, panel-cut, petal-form rim below, with panels stained or enameled yellow, pink, purple, blue, and green, with engraved bunches of grapes and leaves; octagonal knop; panel-cut stem flaring to a petal-form foot; the underside with cut, cross-hatched rounded panels, each with oval depression, enameled and stained yellow, pink, purple, blue, and green, with engraved foliate motif.
