Physical DescriptionPitcher and 6 Tumblers. Transparent colorless lead glass; blown, cut and polished, engraved. Pitcher is corset shaped and cut with bands of vertical lines which alternate with engraved flowers; three evenly spaced roundels at the "waist" have copper-wheel engraving: a monogram "ESB" underneath spout and a basket of flowers in the two on the sides; applied handle cut in 4 panels and notched on the edges; circular base has multi-pointed star; Hawkes acid-stamped trademark below handle. Tumblers, cylindrical and cut with vertical lines alternating with flowers and with one engraved roundel with the monogram ESB and another with a basket of flowers, cut star on base and trademark.
