Physical DescriptionWater Pitcher cut in "Arabic" Pattern. Colorless lead glass; blown and cut; inverted baluster-shaped body, tooled neck and pouring spout, top rim cut in scallops; vertical panels on neck, six hobstars cut around shoulder; series of cut "thumbprints" extend to base which flares out slightly; applied handle from lower part of body to just below neck, cut with two rows of facets; elaborate hobstar cut on base; acid-stamped Hawkes trademark on base below handle.
