Physical DescriptionTransparent green over colorless; both with very few minute bubbles. Blown, cased or applied; relief-cut. Fragment of straight or slightly tapering wall or neck (TTh. 0.2 cm) decorated in relief in green (Th. less than 0.1 cm) on colorless background: small part of one horizontal line of Kufic inscription: ([d]a’im; continuous); 0.7 cm above top of inscription, faint horizontal, presumably continuous groove cut in background. In, or more probably beneath, green overlay are several narrow lines, which appear almost black when viewed through green, but silver when viewed through colorless.
