Physical DescriptionTransparent green over almost colorless with yellowish tinge; both with few minute bubbles. Blown, applied; linear-cut. Fragment of cylindrical cup. Rim plain, with rounded lip; upper wall vertical (TTh. 0.2 cm). Decorated with pad of green glass (Th. 0.05 cm), which was at least 1.6 cm wide and 1.9 cm high, and with linear cutting. Pad is too fragmentary to permit identification of motif; top and left side are straight, angle between them is rounded, and pad itself has several transverse cuts through green to colorless glass. In addition, colorless glass has linear-cut decoration above and to left of pad. Above pad are two contiguous arcs, over junction of which are two short cuts meeting at upper ends and forming triangular projection just below rim. In colorless glass, to left of pad, horizontal cut extends from near outer end of arc on left, with one oval facet and one very short transverse cut above it; one long cut curves down from horizontal cut to edge of pad.Provenance
