Physical DescriptionCarafe and Stopper. Colorless glass; blown, applied, gilded and enameled a) square body rounding up to cylindrical neck and rim with pinched spout, applied handle, wide gold band from rim about 2.3 cm wide with thin band beneath it; decoration of enameled gold flowers with brick red on body and neck. b) Stopper square finial tapering down and then flaring out to short tapering cylindrical shank, decorated with gilt band on top edge of shank and square at top of finial.Provenance
