Physical DescriptionTransparent green over almost colorless with yellowish tint. Blown, applied, and cut. Cup: cylindrical. Rim plain, with top ground flat and inside beveled; wall descends vertically, then curves in at bottom; base plain. Decoration presumably consisted of three green motifs in relief alternating with three motifs cut in colorless glass. Green motifs are (clockwise): (1) quadruped walking to left, with tail in air; (2) missing; (3) quadruped also walking to left. Quadrupeds are solid green, except for transverse linear cuts on bodies and legs. Motifs cut in colorless glass, two of which survive, consist of two parallel vertical lines joined at top by semicircular arch and with isosceles slant-cut triangle at bottom. Underside of base has, at center, concave circular motif (D. 2.1 cm) surrounded by two concentric slant-cut circles.
