Physical DescriptionTransparent aqua, non-lead glass, black base, colorless deflector, bronzed brass, electrical parts; blown, assembled. Inverted teardrop on cone-shaped base; large, thinly blown vase shape with collared and flared rim opening tapers to base that has been sliced off and then polished; open base rim rests on metal support (containing electrical parts) that extends into body sitting on it supported by three notched, wooden flanges; base contains low-voltage bulb that aims up to frosted glass deflector (ovoid with notched ends) hanging from three section wire, which hangs from "zigzag" formed metal strip suspended by two metal rods from upper opening; two thin wires stretch from each end of "zigzag" to top of metal mount; acetate label with: "Barovier & Toso logo/vetri/murano".Provenance
