Physical DescriptionFragment of Small Bowl with Square Panels, Each Containing Nine Dots. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge. Blown; pincered. Fragment of bowl. Rim everted, with rounded lip; wall straight, tapers, and curves in at bottom; base plain; pontil mark probably circular (D. about 0.9 cm). Wall is decorated with horizontal row of contiguous pincered motifs, of which three complete examples and one fragmentary example survive. Each motif is square (H. 1.1 cm) and contains, in relief, three vertical and three horizontal rows of hemispherical bosses; surfaces behind motifs are plain and very lightly recessed.Provenance
