Physical DescriptionVery pale green transparent; blown, applied. Biconical pitcher. Rim plain, with rounded lip; neck curves in and down; wall splays, with convex profile, to below mid-point, then curves down and sharply in; base plain, with splayed footring made by folding; small oval pontil mark (Max. Dim. 1.0 cm. At junction of neck and wall, thin horizontal trail wound in two and three-quarters revolutions and cast off on neck. Single handle with ribbed, roughly triangular cross section dropped on to upper wall, drawn out, up, and in and attached to lower neck, then drawn down to lower attachment and up again to top, with excess glass pulled down and cast off. Glass contains fragments of unfused batch material and small bubbles, and scale in handle.Provenance
