Physical DescriptionFragment: of a Wall Revetment. Translucent and opaque glasses; mosaic glass techniques. Round canes of opaque white centers cased with a thick translucent amethyst in turn cased with a thin layer of opaque white alternate with a similar amethyst cane which substitutes two concentric rings of opaque white dots and these two types are interspersed with a third cane of opaque white center cased with translucent green which is in turn cased by two bands of opaque yellow with radiating yellow spokes and again cased in green, heavily weathered on back, one surface repolished recently. Fragment preserves a triangular segment of a flat wall revetment.Provenance
