Physical DescriptionColorless glass; blown, ground and polished. Decanter: Short outsplayed rim with lip ground flat; cylindrical neck with continuous horizontal groove at mid-point; flat shoulder with rounded edge; wall descends vertically and then curves inward to bottom; thick, plain base with concave floor and flat bottom; in lower part of wall and on underside of base, broad groove with rounded ends and shallow U-shaped cross-section; scratched signature on base, in groove: "IH.80"; paper label with purple ink inscription attached to base: "96186"; tumbler: plain rim with lip ground flat; vertical side; thick, plain base with concave floor and flat bottom; in lower part of wall, two diametrically opposed, broad vertical grooves with rounded tops and shallow U-shaped cross-section terminating at base; scratched signature under base, near edge: "IH.80".
