Physical DescriptionColorless glass; blown, tooled, applied, engraved. Large egg-shaped body with a long narrow neck that widens to spout. The handle is attached to the back of the spout and the top of the body with an applied circular foot. The jug is decorated overall with fine engraving, the main scene consisiting of a chariot drawn by three horses while the opposite side bears a heart-shaped design. The stopper is blown and decorated overall with floral and geometric patterns.Provenance
