Exterior of wall has three horizontal bands of scratch-engraved ornament (from top to bottom): (1) evidently just below rim, narrow band with group of short vertical lines resting on border line; (2) between pairs of border lines above and below, broad band of leaf sprays and isolated leaves, all filled with transverse hatching; and (3) evidently just above base, narrow band with border line at top, from which descends group of short vertical lines alternating with hatched semicircles.
