Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, opaque white and orange enamel; machine-blown into a mold, silk-screened decoration. Straight-sided tumbler with walls tapering in slightly towards base, folded-over (?) fire-polished rim; overall background decoration of small white stars; one-half of walls decorated with white stylized rendering of a low sectioned structure fronted by Tyrlon and Perisphere, printed above Perisphere in elongated block letters with oversize T,h,B,1,d,g letters: "Theme Building"; elongated orange capital letters encircle the base: "NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR*1939"; flat, slightly thickened, flat base, mold mark, no pontil; unsigned.Provenance
