Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl with Lyre-Shaped Motifs. Transparent yellowish green glass. Blown; pincered. Bowl: cylindrical. Wall straight and apparently more or less vertical. Decorated with at least two different pincers, which produced impressed decoration on outer and inner surfaces: (1) on left of fragment, elongated lyre-like motif with drop-shaped outline that narrows at top and curves out, down, and in to form circular terminals; outline encloses second drop-shaped element, which is closed at top; (2) on right of fragment and slightly below (1), similar motif, but without inner element. Running across edge of (1) is vertical row of short horizontal lines, with trace of second, similar row inside (2); these may have been made with third pair of pincers.
