Physical DescriptionTranslucent deep blue glass; body blown in mold; tooled, applied. Conical body, rim folded inward and downward; long neck which tapers at top and then descends vertically, with slight indentation at bottom; conical body with mold-blown decoration: on upper part, very faint fluting; on lower part, continuous frieze of 12 bosses, each of which has a tear-shaped element above a triangular element with two small projections near the top; between each pair of bosses, one small circular boss; at bottom and under base, 24 petals radiating from center; pontil mark; near bottom of neck, applied trail bent into wave-like form; attached to lower part of neck and upper part of body, handle with prominent "elbow" and pinched projection at angle and at bottom; attached to lower part of body, tubular spout.
