Physical DescriptionColorless glass; blown, tooled, applied, acid-etched, perhaps iridized, stained, enameled and gilded. Large, three handled vase elaborately decorated in an eclectic style derived from a variety of medieval and later sources in the Islamic world. The ornament includes three cartouches containing: a figure with a genie emerging from a bottle, a figure looking up at another figure on a flying carpet and a genie(?). Around the rim is what appears to be an inscription.Provenance
