Physical DescriptionPossibly Fragment of Beaker with Fantastic Animal. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge. Blown; relief-cut. Fragment from beaker(?) with straight wall (TTh. 0.25 cm) decorated in relief (Th. 0.1 cm). Decoration is enigmatic, but it may consist of fantastic animal shown in left profile. Its head has large eye indicated by countersunk dot, two small ears, and short, curved horn; neck and breast are represented by single curved line; similar but short line indicates back; and wing is in form of half-palmette. Above head and wing, curvilinear motif, part of which has triangular end. Lines are notched, details in head are incised, and triangular motif has incised lines and one printy.Provenance
