Physical DescriptionOpalescent non-lead (?) glass; mold-blown, enameled, gilt. (a) Inverted baluster form, with flared neck, rounded shoulder, waisted sides, flared foot; elaborately decorated with enamels and gilding: gilt bands at the rim, blue-green bands below, on either side of a floral band; the sides with large oval blue panel with white lettering: "POUDRE/A LA/FRANGIPANE"; (b) Elaborately domed form, with baluster finial on capstan stem; gilt bands, enameled bands, and gilt and enameled flowers matching those on (a); no pontil marks.Provenance
