Physical DescriptionPurple, colorless lead glass; blown, cut. Candlestick has flaring rim cut in notches, vertical ovals cut around cylindrical socket. Capstan-shaped colorless section between socket and inverted baluster stem overlaid with amethyst, cut with three fleur-de-lis above two horizontal rings above vertical ovals above two more rings. Lower part of stem is cut in six vertical panels with no cased color, applied heavy flat foot cut into a square, polished pontil mark underneath.Provenance
