Physical DescriptionGeissler Tube. Colorless glass, metal, cork; lampworked. Glass tube with two bulbous ends, each containing a metal rod. One end has small pulled glass attachment. Cylindrical tube between ends contains thinner tube manipulated into four loops. Outer tube has short cylindrical vacuum tube sealed with cork stopper. Pink powdery residue adheres to interior of outer tube, particularly in and around vacuum tube.
