Physical DescriptionGeissler Tube. Colorless glass, metal, pink residue; lampworked. Glass tube with two bulbous ends, each containing a metal rod. One end has small pulled glass attachment. Cylindrical tube between ends contains thinner tube manipulated spiral flanked by two bulbous shapes; open-ended cylindrical tube held within spiral. Outer tube has short cylindrical vacuum tube. Interior of outer tube covered in bright pink residue.Provenance
