Physical DescriptionStylized floral canes composed of round translucent amethyst rods cased with opaque yellow, six of these are clustered around a central element and cased in a translucent amethyst square cane, dull, one side repolished recently; mosaic glass or millefiori technique, subsequently fire-polished, one side retaining tooling marks. Fragment preserves rim of a small vessel finished with a thick trail of opaque white. The floral canes seem to alternate with a deformed cane or a cane which may represent a small butterfly in opaque yellow.Provenance
