Physical DescriptionTransparent deep blue glass; blown, scratch-engraved. Fragment of cup, including nearly 40 percent of rim. Rim plain, with rounded lip that is beveled on outside; upper wall vertical. Wall is decorated with at least three horizontal bands of ornament (from top to bottom): (1) narrow band of adjacent semicircular motifs resting on groundline; each motif is filled with vertical hatching; (2) between single border lines, narrow band of adjacent isosceles triangles, with bases resting on lower border and apexes touching upper border; triangles are filled with vertical hatching; and (3) indeterminate hatched motifs below upper border (lower part of band is missing).Provenance
