Physical DescriptionVessel, "Light Reading". Opaque orange, maroon, blue, and white glass, fused glass cane, murrine; blown, roll-up technique, velato technique. Vessel with checkered tile pattern and rectangular pictorial frames. The top frame contains a painted illustration of a figure sitting on a stack of books and the bottom frame contains rows of light blue dashes on an opaque white background. The decorative elements were initially fused into a flat sheet and then rolled and blown into vessel form.Provenance
