Physical DescriptionPitcher. Lead glass, colorless; dip-molded, free-blown and engraved; straight sides spreading slightly from pushed-up base with rough pontil mark to narrow angled shoulder, wide short cylindrical neck with shallow lip; decoration: at bottom of body, twelve contiguous round-top sunken arches extending on base to slightly rough pontil mark at depressed center; just below shoulder, engraved open-back circlet of daisy-like flowers with small polished centers, and groups of paired (on the horizontal) large veined and slender pinnate leaves; on neck, open-back circlet of paired (on the horizontal) long veined and slender pinnate leaves; applied hollow semi-ear-shaped handle with long tongue-like attachment extending from rim onto shoulder and crimped end with curled tip.Provenance
