Physical DescriptionBlue translucent glass, with white opaque trails; blown; applied. Gather inflated slightly, marvered, and trailed; then inflated further and pinched or blown in mold; and inflated to desired size and shape. Fragment of bowl; globular. Rim everted, with plain, cracked-off lip; shoulder short and sloping; wall curves down and in. Narrow horizontal trail or trails wound many times around shoulder and wall; surviving part of wall has three vertical ribs; between ribs, wall is recessed vis-a-vis shoulder, so that shoulder and ribs somewhat resemble an arcade (see REMARKS). Rim and wall are thin (about 0.05-0.1 cm); shoulder is thicker. Trails are visible on shoulder and ribs, but are very faint on wall between ribs.Provenance
