Physical DescriptionShaded amber glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark. Obverse: designs on oval panels; horse and cart on rail; similar to GV-3. Also the panels in wagon box are plain; no inscription. Reverse: large American Eagle lengthwise, head turned to left; wings partly raised and spread; shield with seven vertical and two horizontal bars on breast. Thunderbolt (three arrows) in eagle's left talons, olive branch in right; eagle in high relief; similar to GV-8 but no stars. Edges: vertically ribbed, heavy medial rib.Provenance
