Physical DescriptionRectangular cardboard box with a wooden frame containing a very elaborate grotto-like scene of paper, cardboard, glue, wood, shells, etc.; the scene is mainly in three levels containing many cut out and colored views of towns from engravings as well as trees and animals, also from cut out engravings in color; these are mixed with shells glued to the back and the moss-like felt; on the middle level is apparently St. John the Baptist, a figurine in glass, wearing a hair shirt, with both arms uplifted; on the left a dog in yellow; at his right foot a sheep made out of glass.
