Physical DescriptionFragment of Laced Mosaic Bowl. Colorless glass rods with opaque white twists, slightly bubbly, dull frosted surface with some pitting and thing iridescent film flaking off, rim finished with single blue coil spirally wound with opaque white trail; mosaic glass or reticelli technique, both surfaces polished. Colorless glass rods with a greenish tinge, wound with an opaque white trail, slightly bubbly, entire surface covered with thin light iridescent film, some dark brown incrustation on interior, rim finished with a translucent deep blue cane spirally wound in a close configuration with an opaque white trail. Shallow bowl with almost straight-sided cylindrical form and flat base as far as preserved, although heavily weathered, the canes seem to alternate between single and double spiral wound elements.Provenance
