Physical Description"Patrician" Wine Decanter with Stopper. Colorless glass. The vessel and stopper were blown into wooden molds; the foot of the decanter was blown and attached to the mold-blown body with a short stem. After being annealed, the bubbles of the decanter and the stopper were cracked off and the edges polished. The decanter (a) is an ovoid body that opens into a waisted neck and flared rim. The body is attached to the circular foot with a short cylindrical stem. The stopper (b) is a solid, acorn-shaped shaft that transitions into a narrow cylindrical stem and terminates in a hollow inverted bell-shaped shot glass.

Former Collection Shawna A. Nemeth (born 1970) - 2000-2017
A copy of a hand-written family history was sent with object. The following is an excerpt from the letter (see REMARKS for full text):

"My Grandmother Dolly D. Hammond received this set of Lobmeyr from her father Charles Davidson as a wedding gift in 1948 or 1949. My Grandmother divorced in 1958, packed all of her assorted Lobmeyr and moved from Great Falls, Montana to Southern California.

I was raised by my Grandmother and she kept her collections boxed and stored in my bedroom closet. Prior to her passing in 2000 she spoke her wishes for me to have all of the Lobmeyr when she passed. Aside from being unpacked by the trustee of her estate for valuation and inventory purposes, I have kept the sets in storage until now."
