Physical DescriptionAquamarine glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark with brownish residue. Obverse: large heart shaped frame containing elaborate scrolls and at top of frame small eight-pointed star; in space above frame where outer and edge ribs terminate, a star, points not defined clearly; between scrolls "LOUISVILLE KY" in a curved line; similar to GIX-8 except letters slightly smaller. Reverse: similar to obverse except inscription "GLASS WORKS" in a curved line and in smaller letters than GIX-8.
