Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, reverse-painted. (a) Flat, circular form; slightly convex glass top, with reverse-painted portrait of a woman, wearing a tiara, elaborate earrings, dress with lace bodice; rounded brass frame band; brown cardboard sides with stamped foliate scrolls; inside lined with cream- colored paper; oval printed paper label with double line border, inscribed "GUERRE/46, Rue de Rivoli./Paris.". (b) Similar form; with similar brass base rim and brown cardboard sides with stamped decoration; cream-colored sleeve, and inner lining; green paper-covered bottom.Provenance
