Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown ("half-post" method), pattern- molded; turned metal mount. (a) Flattened, ovoid form, the sides covered with a pattern of raised, rounded hobnails; the first gather ending at the base of a short, cylindrical neck; the rim mounted in a turned pewter cap, the threaded, cylindrical sleeve to fit (b); base with radial ribs and rough pontil mark. (b) Short, cylindrical form with rim molded in a band of tiny raised circles; the lower rim stepped; threaded inside to fit the threaded sleeve on (a).
