Physical DescriptionVase. Transparent pale blue non-lead glass with black, blue, pinkish- red, red and gold enamels; blown and enameled. Squat bulbous form; circular upper rim; cylindrical neck swells to squat bulbous body which is decorated with flowers, vines, branches and a praying mantis; concave base; two applied opposing enameled "ear-shape" handles attached at shoulder and near base; enameled in red on base: "E. Galle a/Nancy".
