Physical DescriptionColorless, with some seed. Blown; relief-cut. Bottle with bell-shaped body. Rim plain, with rounded lip; neck cylindrical, but narrower at bottom than at top; shoulder rounded; wall almost straight and wider at bottom than at top; base plain; no pontil mark (but see below). Decorated on neck, shoulder, wall, and base. On neck: raised collar (H. 2.9 cm) decorated with 13 tall, narrow tongues, each rounded at top, outlined in relief; below this, continuous horizontal rib and, at junction with shoulder, one continuous "step." On shoulder: two steps, below which is register (H. 2.3 cm) containing 18 tongues, wider than those on neck, each rounded at bottom, outlined in relief. On wall: two registers (each H. about 3 cm), defined by three horizontal ribs; upper register contains six running "hares" facing forward in left profile, each with raised outlines, countersunk eye, large ear, and prominent tail; lower register has six similar animals, also running from left to right, but with their heads alternately looking forward and back; in both registers, some outlines are notched and heads, ears, and some limbs are hatched. On base: two concentric circles, one at edge and other (D. 3.6 cm) at center.
