Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent purple, and opaque orange non-lead glasses; blown, applied, engraved, carved. Shallow, circular shape with slightly curved sides; large applied oval pad of purple glass behind a smaller pad of opaque orange glass; engraved decoration on the front, with rounded petals roughly engraved around the purple and orange areas to suggest a flower, with roughly engraved striations and a field of rounded lobes in the center (appearing almost like stippling); multi-part stem and two pointed-oval, veined leaves deeply carved on the reverse side; bottom polished flat; inscribed (scratched) along the back edge, at the top: "Orrefors Expo A611-77 Olle Alberius".
