Physical DescriptionPaperweight with Sulphide of Queen Victoria. Colorless, amethyst, polychrome lead glasses; paperweight, sulphide, millefiori, cut. Domed, circular form, with cut circular window on top, five cut circular windows on the side with deep, rounded, vertical grooves in between; enclosing a molded sulphide of the young Queen Victoria facing left, encircled by a ring of canes, with six green, red, and white canes interspersed with sets of three white "Edelweiss" canes; set onto a purple (black) background, with white and purple layers behind; polished pontil mark; paper label inscribed "91" in ink.Provenance
