Physical DescriptionColorless, blue, white, and polychrome lead glasses; paperweight, millefiori, sulphide, cut. Domed, circular form, with large flat cut circular window on top, and six concave cut windows on the side; enclosing a molded sulphide of a bearded, robed man holding a scroll in his right hand, his left hand raised, inscribed "St rene" in blue script on a panel below, with molded scrolls below and at the sides of the panel; encircled by a ring of millefiori canes with six pink and green roses interspersed with five "Edelweiss" canes; set on a royal blue ground backed with opaque white; polished pontil mark; paper label, inscribed "149" in ink.
