Physical DescriptionColorless, deep amber, tan and purple glass; blown, enameled; with silk cord (Kumihimo). Gourd shape, short cylindrical neck; rounded rim; upper portion is amber tinted, lower part colorless; enamel decoration starts a short distance below neck, shading from tan at top to mottled purple at base; pink and tan Kumihimo cord tied around neck and waist of gourd, ending in two tassels hanging down towards base; flat polished base with polished concave pontil area; signed on pontil area " c 1983 Wm & L. Glasner NS8".
