Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed, cut, gilt; molded, encased sulphide. Tapered, straight-sided shape; rim gilt; molded rectangular panels on the sides, with raised oval panels, each with gilt floral sprays; an octagonal, raised panel on the front with cut sides, enclosing a molded ceramic (sulphide) of a seated, robed woman holding a child in her lap, and a scepter in her right hand; bulbous, panel-molded base, with gilt band; stepped, hexagonal foot with gilt band at the rim; concave underneath, with polished, flat rim.Provenance
