Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut; enameled, stamped, encrusted metal foil. Cylindrical, straight-sided shape, with cut sides; plain rim, wide band on the side with cut vertical ribs interrupted at the centers by cut concave circular facets, and with cut concave semi-circles at the bottoms and tops; rectangular panel on the front, with oval convex panel encasing a stamped, enameled, gold-foil medal of the Legion of Honor, with five white-enameled arms backed by a green foliate wreath, gold medallion at the center with stamped male head facing sinister, on a rayed background; encircled by a blue band inscribed in gold "HENRI IV ROI DE FRANCE ET DE NAV."; suspended from a gold crown and red ribbon; horizontal band of cut ribbing above a basal band of cut rounded vertical ribbing; bottom with cut radial rounded ribbing.
