Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; gold decoration; brass plated metal; black plastic; mold-blown by machine, screen printed; a) conical shaped carafe; machine finished rim with pinched lip, rim rounded in to neck; short cylindrical neck with metal band around it; handle attached to neck by metal band, handle opposite pinched lip, is a rough upside "L" shape; body of carafe tapered out to bottom, bottom rounded in to base, three equally spaced gold colored bouquets with stylized star shaped flowers printed onto sides of carafe, "PYREX®/MADE IN U.S.A." printed underneath one bouquet; flat circular base; b) cylindrical cover; cylindrical knob, top of knob pressed in, sides ribbed, are slightly tapered out, bottom of knob flared out into cover; rim of cover raised with straight sides, rounded notch taken out of one side; cylindrical insert on underside of cover, trapezoidal notch taken out on side under rim notch, four equally spaced raised bumps on insert exterior; underside of cover depressed where knob is on top.
